Bill Esper once said: ‘Truth is the blood of art. Without truth a piece of art fails to touch the human spirit.’  In today’s society, many believe that technology is swiftly becoming a substitute for the art of the past. Here, at Telos Ensemble, we don't believe that it will ever fully live up to that expectation. Throughout history, humans search for experience; something that technology will never be able to truly understand. Through the development of our original works, across both film and theatre, we aim to continue the human tradition of sharing stories of our experiences. Time and time again, the personal proves itself to be the most universal.

For the past two years, we’ve been able to bring you productions such as Telos, Lake George, Concupiscence and Castles, as well as the Purgatory series. In only 26 months we’ve produced six theatrical productions and one feature film across two continents, becoming fiscally sponsored by The Field in the process. As an artistic production company in New York, we survive through government grants for the arts - which have unfortunately decreased in number and funding this year - and through the generosity of our patrons.

We have an incredibly exciting plan for 2026, however, in order to make that plan a reality, we need to raise funds to cover our operating costs as a company. Your donation supports our ability  to continue providing original work and will go directly towards aspects such as venue hire, rehearsal spaces, paying performers, technicians and more, ensuring that we can provide the highest quality of our work to you, our patrons.​​
